Choosing the poems for this section of the web site was “a mission”. Deciding how to arrange them was another! Our individual responses to a poem depends so much on mood, time and place when reading them, even when we write the poems ourselves. I discovered that poems written years ago could mean something very different in the present. Poems I once remembered as significant, seemed trite or even meaningless. Others became so much better, after another “little edit”. Some were just “themselves” and stayed the same.
In the end I opted for the following categories (at least for now) but accept that, even so, some still can float over boundaries and most could be ordered in different ways.
